Surge Towards You

Despite his impressive Olympic-level figure skating career, Dan Yi-rim has always considered himself defective. His pheromones do not give off a scent, even though he is an omega—a secondary sex defined by the ability to give birth and attract the socially superior alphas with their pheromones during a "heat cycle." When Yi-rim suddenly becomes lightheaded and falls into a river, he is saved by Yeom Cheong-ho, a professional swimmer. But Cheong-ho, an alpha, has been struggling with an extreme aversion to omega pheromones.

Yi-rim and Cheong-ho quickly discover that their unique constitutions are complementary and that sexual contact seriously improves Cheong-ho's performance in the pool. Desperate for human connection, Yi-rim is initially more than willing to be used by Cheong-ho. However, as Yi-rim's feelings change with time, he wonders if they will ever form an emotional bond.
