Latar belakang
PQ Angels gained a fair amount of popularity, but was cancelled due to the Japanese publisher Kodansha losing seven pages of Takeuchi Naoko's manuscript. This led to her and her editor Osano Fumio's departure to Shueisha.
Takeuchi said that Toei Animation had the manuscript of the series, therefore it would have been possible to create an anime adaptation.
