Kimi wa Alpha

Ever since high school began, Ryouta has harbored a secret crush for his best friend, Shunya. Unfortunately, since they are both alphas, a secondary sex that typically pairs with those known as omegas, Ryouta believes that a romantic relationship is impossible and has resigned himself to being the best friend that he can be.

However, when Shunya suddenly mutates and becomes an omega who emits pheromones that make him irresistible to alphas, everything changes. Unwilling to separate from Shunya, Ryouta goes to painstaking lengths to ensure Shunya's new reality remains unnoticed and that they can keep attending the same all-alpha school together. As Shunya's omega traits continue to develop, maintaining the facade grows difficult—and resisting each other nearly impossible.
