Afterglow

Though he has always envisioned himself becoming an elite cardiovascular surgeon, a series of incidents led Dr. Kiyotaka Higuchi to be transferred to the internal medicine department at a rural hospital instead. Feeling like his career is languishing, he spends his time at work furiously studying medical journals, and when the day is done, he drowns his sorrows at a bar.

One evening, after the bartender cuts him off, Higuchi encounters a strange yet handsome man in an alleyway who offers to help him forget whatever is troubling him. Without realizing that the man is Tenju, an infamous gangster, Higuchi ends up going to a hotel where the two share an intense night of pleasure.

Regretting his drunken bender, Higuchi tries to move past his mistakes, only to find Tenju happily waiting for him at home. The gangster boldly declares his intention to seduce the doctor, and while Higuchi initially resists, they soon find that they may be more compatible than either of them thought.
