One of Rentarou Aijou's first two girlfriends, alongside Karane Inda. She is a first-year at Ohana-no-mitsu University High School, in class 1–4.

Hakari is well-mannered, academically brilliant, and comes from a wealthy family. She also has an alluring figure, with a large bust (of which she is very proud). She is considered a deredere (デレデレ), as she is open and affectionate with her feelings towards Rentarou. Hakari is also extremely lewd, and often comes up with various schemes to help herself or her co-girlfriends get closer with their shared boyfriend.

Hakari meets Rentarou (and Karane) on their first day of school, when they bump into each other in the corridor. After attempting to get closer to him by faking an injury, the two of them hear about a rumor about the pink clovers in the schoolyard and romantic success, and they rush off to find one.

Rentarou finds Hakari attempting to find a pink four-leaf clover, and offers her a drink to cool off. Hakari comes up with a scheme to get an indirect kiss from Rentarou, by pretending that the drink is too much for her to finish on her own. Although her scheme is unsuccessful (due to her dropping the can), Hakari eventually musters up the courage to admit her feelings for Rentarou. The next day, when Rentarou reciprocates both her and Karane's feelings (receiving a pink four-leaf clover as a present), Hakari accepts the idea of Rentarou dating her and Karane at the same time, beginning a polyamorous relationship.

Besides Rentarou, Hakari is also extremely close with her co-girlfriend Karane. They spend a lot of time together, and they have also kissed each other both unconsciously and of their own volition.
